Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the countryside of Central Crete, passing olive groves, vineyards, and traditional landscapes that reveal the authentic character of the island. We then continue toward the peaceful village of Smari, a traditional Cretan settlement where time seems to move slowly. Here you will have time to walk through its quiet streets, admire the stone houses, and experience the genuine charm of village life.
Leaving the village behind, the adventure continues off-road through olive groves and rural trails, offering beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The route leads us to the rugged landscape of Karteros Gorge, where a short trekking descent brings us deeper into nature.
