Psiloritis Trails – Authentic Mountain Crete Experience

We pause at a scenic lookout where you can gather local herbs, snap photos, and drink in views that stretch across the island’s dramatic terrain.
The next stop is Anogia, a historic mountain village nestled on Psiloritis’ slopes. Here you’ll meet warm‑hearted locals as you stroll through traditional streets lined with stone houses. There’s additional time for a coffee or a visit to the central village church if you like.
The highlight of the day is Sfendoni Cave in Zoniana — one of Crete’s most impressive underground marvels and part of the UNESCO Global Geopark. Explore its vast chambers, marvel at the delicate stalactites and stalagmites, and feel the awe of this hidden geological treasure.
